Emmett is approximately 8 months old. He is a border collie X and is a very playful boy! Emmett loves people and loves all other dogs. He really enjoys going to the dog park, and he stays close to his foster mom and is very good about coming back when he is called. He is learning all about how to be a good boy and that having manners gets him lots of treats and attention. He is an eager learner, so it isn't taking him long to figure things out. Emmett is very good in his crate, and even rings his bells when he needs to go outside!
Emmett's favorite toy is his towel. He brings it with him when he goes in his kennel, and when he lies on his dog bed, and he likes to shake it around and play with it too! He's so cute and funny! Emmett would love a home that will play with him and take him for lots of walks! He is just a happy dog looking for a family to love him and give him a place to call home.

Definitions:
Pending - means that we are working through the adoption process with the 1st applicant. We usually don't add the pending until we are pretty sure the adoption will go through (like at the home visit stage)
On Trial or Trial Visit - means that the dog is in their new home we want to give it a few days to make sure that everyone is happy with the new living arrangements! Not available for distance adoptions.
Adopted - you know!! A happy ending for a homeless dog. We try to let everyone know when we get an update about the dog in the new home. Within about 24 hours, the dog's bio will be moved to our happy tails section!
